Why I almost put these crystals in my mouth

In a warehouse full of beautiful stones, a group of shimmery green crystals captured my attention. The green gems seemed to sparkle just a little bit brighter than all the rest. With a sprinkling of shiny dust, they reminded me of the fruit jellies from my childhood. I scooped up a cache of the juiciest ones to share with you.

These translucent fluorite crystals don’t have that sugary sparkle any longer. They seem to have transformed. They may change back—or not. Crystals often play with their physical form. Now they look more like wine gums or jello cubes. Perhaps I have sugar on the brain, but I believe I’m just tuning into the energy of the crystals. That “gel-ly” appearance hints at one of its metaphysical gift.

Integration

These crystals are here to help us to integrate new things into our lives. Whether it’s a new teaching, a new habit or shifting into a new frequency, these crystals can help us to hold onto them—to allow them to “gel”, so to speak. That was the first glimpse of their medicine.  

I kept it close, listening for more crystal whispers. I like to stay present with new stone friends for a while. Sometimes days, sometimes months.  Sometimes I’ll journey with a crystal for a whole year, or more, and there will often be a consistent flow of new insights, wisdom and medicine throughout that time. There’s often much, much more that they have to share. 

So we don't miss out

If we're quick to hold on to the first thing that the crystals share with us, we might not be so open to noticing what other gifts and what other medicine there is. So I invite you when you're working with the stone beings to go deeper with them.

Another dimension of their magic

It was not long before this stone being soon showed me another dimension of their magic. I had been dealing with some drama in a group I host and trying to figure out what to do about it. I had already done some energy work around it. I removed any energetic attachments with a crystal blade and I sent loving blessings out to the persons involved. 

Still, I noticed an uncomfortable feeling come up as I was thinking about it. You know that feeling when something's not quite right? That sinking sensation in your solar plexus that you can’t quite explain, but you feel it in your body? That's exactly what I was experiencing.

A clear solution

After the releasing work, the fluorite crystal showed me a clear solution with exact next steps to resolve the issues, while being respectful to everyone, including myself. Honouring myself in the equation was a big part of the resolution—one that I had not previously considered. I was so concerned about the feelings of the others involved, that I didn’t take my own into account. Within seconds of receiving this insight, the emotional discomfort faded.
