The Starry Night Crystal
The Starry Night crystal has been singing and inspiring me. With this crystal by my side, I’ve had the inspiration, motivation and energy to bring to life, that which is born in my imagination.
This crystal is like a star filled sky
That crystal is Azurite. When you look at it, you will see why I call it the Starry Night crystal. The colour has the richness and depth of the night sky and it sparkles like the stars.
Inspired manifestation
One night, after sleeping with Azurite beside my bed, I woke up filled with powerful inspiration and motivation. It felt as though all the creative energy within me had suddenly taken on an organized form.
Creativity is usually wild and untamed, but Azurite brings it structure—in a beautiful blend of the organic and the ordered. Azurite seems to balance that feminine flow of inspired idea with the masculine energy of manifestation so harmoniously. It felt freeing, empowering, and absolutely delicious.
Crystals collaborate too
Like all creatives, this crystal loves to collaborate. That’s reflected in the green mineral often found alongside it—Malachite.The two grow together, sometimes even transforming into one another.
Crystals that undergo this kind of transformation are called pseudomorphs—a mineral that replaces another's chemistry or structure, preserving the original's shape, but changing its properties. Azurite can become Malachite and Malachite can become Azurite. They are (unoriginally) called, “Azurite after Malachite” or “Malachite after Azurite.”
Divine Union
Lately, the crystal that I’ve been moved to pair with Azurite is Amethyst. These two shine together. Amethyst helps us to break free of the fears and old patterns that keep us from realizing our dreams and Azurite adds the spark of energy that brings them to life.
I’ve come to see that the harmony azurite has with others and within itself, with creativity and manifestation—symbolizes the union between the physical and the divine—energy and matter. This is the ultimate human experience—to bring heaven down to earth. And I only just realized that this is what Azurite has been showing me as I was talking to you about it in the video below:
Mystical Doorways
Azurite has also shown me that it acts as a portal, opening gateways between realms. That makes sense, given its starry energy and its affinity towards partnership. It helps us connect and communicate with other beings, other realities—other frequencies of existence.
Azurite will open up doorways to the hidden realms—but also into the thing we keep hidden—the secrets we keep from ourselves. It is a stone of grand visions, helping us to see the hidden secrets of the universe and of the inner self/spirit.
Play with them, connect with them, and see what unfolds. They are truly extraordinary beings.
