Do crystals affect each other?
Emerald and copper are our year stones for 2025. After the solstice, I checked in with myself to notice what shift these crystals sparked in me during the first half of the year. When I went to gather my personal emerald and copper year stones I was startled by what I saw. The emerald had deepened in tone—much darker than it was at the beginning of the year. It looked almost black.
Witnessing their transformation, transformed me—as did the song they whispered to me this morning. Their message for us came in 2 parts.
Song of Emerald and Copper- Part 1
As alone as you sometimes feel, you are not here in isolation. AND there is great and meaningful purpose to your being here. In every minute of every hour of every day that you are here, you are changing the world and the world is changing you.
When you become aware of your affect on the world and it on you, that is when life gets more interesting, more fun, more dynamic. That’s when you realize your power as a co-creator of your life rather than feeling like you are being taken for a ride through a river’s rapids—constantly tossed around and always in danger of being thrown off your raft.
When you see with clear eyes, and you accept what you see without argument, then no matter what life throws at you or where life throws you, you will not feel thrown off balance. Your foundation will feel solid and stable. You will always feel anchored no matter what is happening around you or to you.
This requires open eyes and an open heart. It’s about living life in truth—no matter how that truth will change your landscape—whether or not it will threaten your relationships or your way of life.
When you stand your ground and hold your position, the ground will hold you.
Whatever or whoever gets washed away with that wave of truth are those that cannot withstand the transformation. Then you will see that they were the ones who created the turbulence and chaos to begin with. And then you will have a clear and unobscured path forward towards a life of purpose.

It's undeniable
So as you can see, crystals do affect each other. Often in subtle, unseen ways, but sometimes, like in this case of the deepening of the emerald, in ways that are undeniable.
