A Crystal Hug
There are times when a crystal arrives with a very serious message.
And then there are times when it arrives carrying confetti.
The Confetti Quartz coming forward for us now sparkles with tiny flashes of hematite and lepidocrocite, as though someone tucked a handful of celebration into the stone.
When I hold them, I feel something simple and surprisingly profound:
They are here to celebrate you.
And this isn't the first time they've sung this song.
A Celebration of You
Several years ago, Confetti Quartz came forward with a message about celebration.
At first, I thought they were talking about the kinds of things we naturally celebrate: birthdays, graduations, promotions, milestones, accomplishments, victories.
But the crystals took the message somewhere much deeper.
They asked us to consider celebrating something we rarely think to celebrate at all:
the blessing of our existence.
We are usually so accustomed to measuring our lives by what we've done, created, earned, achieved, overcome, or contributed that we can forget the most fundamental thing of all.
You are here.
And perhaps that is worthy of celebration all by itself.
Not because you've accomplished something extraordinary.
Not because you've become the person you hoped you would become.
Not because you've finally checked all the boxes.
Simply because you exist.
I remember the Confetti Quartz inviting us to imagine the whole of Life joining the celebration—the trees and flowers, mountains and stones, rivers and waters, the sun and moon, the stars above us.
A great cosmic chorus.
And somehow, in that moment, celebration became something much larger than an occasion.
It became recognition.
The world has not been waiting for you to prove that you are worthy of being here?
Life has been celebrating you all along?
A burst of creation
When the Confetti crystals first appeared, they also showed me an image of twin babies.
They sang to me of fertility and new life.
That made sense on a physical level because these stone beings are Lightbrary crystals, having a larger central crystal surrounded by many smaller crystals. These crystals hold the message of abundance in their very formation.
But I've learned that the crystals often speak in layers.
And not every layer arrives at once.
Now their message has expanded.
They still sing of celebration.
But they are also speaking to me about something new: money.
It's a money crystal
This surprised me.
I hadn't thought about these sparkling stones as a money crystal. Though there actually is a connection between confetti and money––I discovered that there is such a thing as dollar bill and dollar sign shaped types called "confetti money".
But when I listened more deeply, the message wasn't about attracting money (or at least not only that)...it was about staying in sovereignty with our money
These crystals can help us become more discerning about choosing what we do with our money.
Who do we want to support?
What are we contributing to?
Where does our money create something we actually believe in?
And where might we be spending because we are influenced, pressured, dazzled, or persuaded?
There is something wonderfully freeing about this.
Money is energy, too.
And becoming more conscious with money may not be about learning how to budget our money.
So we might shift our focus from...
"How much do I have?"
To...
"What am I choosing to give my energy to?"
Confetti Quartz helps us answer that question from a place of discernment rather than fear.
Star Power
And then the crystal's whispers deepened. They spoke to me of star power.
First of the kind of power we usually associate with status or influence. And the feeling we have when we find ourselves in the presence of someone we perceive as more powerful than ourselves.
A celebrity.
A political figure.
Someone wealthy or famous.
Someone whose approval we unconsciously give more weight to than our own.
Confetti Quartz help us remember that we can stand on equal footing.
It makes no difference of someone's position, influence, money, or visibility.
Because...
no human being is inherently more valuable than another.
There is something freeing about remembering that.
We don't have to fawn.
We don't have to shrink.
We don't have to hand our authority to someone simply because they have more followers, more money, a bigger platform, or a more recognizable name.
We can appreciate someone's gifts without making them larger than ourselves.
And then the crystals spoke of another kind of star power.
The stars in the sky.
Wish Upon a Star
There is an old phrase: wish upon a star.
And we can hold a Confetti crystal when we are wishing. But they invite us to shift our intention.
Instead of imagining the stars as distant beings with the power to grant our wishes, these crystals invite us into relationship with them.
They help us lift our consciousness.
To speak to them
To listen to them
To have a conversation with them.
To remember that we are not separate from the great mystery surrounding us.
We don't have to beg the stars for our dreams.
We can learn to dance with them.
And this brings me back to the confetti song.
The same song
When we look at the messages of these crystals: celebration, money, power, and stars. We might see that they are each different expressions of the same whisper:
You matter.
Your presence matters.
Your choices matter.
Where you place your money matters.
Who you give your energy to matters.
Whether you shrink in the presence of someone you perceive as powerful matters.
And the dreams you quietly carry inside you matter, too.
Maybe the greatest celebration isn't something that happens after we accomplish our dreams.
Maybe it begins when we recognize that we are already worthy of celebrating while we're still on our way.
Hold some confetti

Listen.
And let yourself receive the hug.
