My emerald changed. 

It deepened in colour. 

This happened while it was nestled between a copper and a Datolite crystal. The copper crystal had a waxy white mineral which had grown on top of it. It turned out that this white stuff was Datolite. 

I didn’t know that when I first placed the 3 of them together. At least not on a conscious level. I just listened to the silent whispers and trusted the guidance to put these crystals together. I wouldn’t have known that these crystals harmonize together naturally. But the crystals did. 

This trio of crystals whispered their message for us. I shared the first part last week. Here is part 2.

Song of Emerald and Copper part 2

You are constantly transforming. Sometimes the changes are clear and undeniable. Sometimes they happen in the night when all is quiet and you are sleeping.

They happen continuously over time, every day and every minute and one day you wake up and when you look in the mirror you see an unfamiliar image looking back and it startles you.

It needn’t.

Change is inevitable. It is necessary. And, if you see it with clear and open eyes, it is beautiful. You are beautiful. Every scar, every blemish, every wrinkle—physical evidence of the incredible, elegant, miraculous, Divine expansion of the Universe. You are growing and transforming in every microsecond but you are not doing it alone—you are doing this mysterious dance called life in step and synchronicity with the entire universe.

Clear away the dusty layers of film over your eyes that have formed from judgements and beliefs created by fear, each one further obscuring the truth of who you are and where you are. Each veil that you lift away, allows you to see with more clarity.

They fit

Now these crystals are nestled together once again. It’s really beautiful how they lock into place as if they were 3 pieces of a puzzle that fit together to reveal a picture. And the picture that they are showing us is one of seeing with clear eyes and an open heart. 

To understand and integrate their message and their medicine more deeply, I co-created a star song with these 3 crystals. The star songs allow us to experience our crystal’s magic in a way that is beyond physical touch or even the psychic bond that happens during meditation. 

Ancestral access

Through this mystical essence, I connected to my grandmother and others in my matriarchal line. I feel the crystals showing me another layer and level of their metaphysical gifts and building on their 2 part message. That just as we are affected by all the people, places and things in our lives, so too are we affected by the unseen presence of our ancestors. They continue to guide our choices and imbue us with their wisdom and knowledge long after they have left the earth. If we can remember that, then we can tap into and gain strength from that ancestral power—accessing our family line all the way back to the beginning.
