This Jade Cypress Essential Oil comes from Australia and is steam distilled from leaves. Its bBotanical name is Callitris glaucophylla and it is also known as White Cypress. Jade cypress is a powerful anti-inflammatory essential oil. It is very useful for massage, especially to relieve pain or inflammation in joints, muscles, and injuries. It has antibacterial and antiviral properties, and can be diffused to relieve coughing and respiratory congestion. Inhaling jade cypress can relieve the feeling of mental or emotional overload, especially from stressful events or too much mental stimulation.
