Spring is a beautiful time of year. It is an awakening of sorts. We may not be coming out of a cave after a long period of sleep like the bear, but we are coming out of the darkness and quiet of winter. And with the longer days comes a powerful urge to clean and cleanse. It is a ritual that is celebrated across cultures. It is instinctual. It is primal.
As much as we look forward to the sparkling freshness and spaciousness that we enjoy after a spring clean, the work itself can be overwhelming and uncomfortable. It’s so easy to put it off, or give up once the initial motivation has worn off. That is if we can get ourselves to start at all.
