Colour in Crystals

Colour has a profound impact on us mentally, emotionally and physically.  The colour of a crystal is a vitally important part of its whole make-up.  Crystals are very deeply connected to colours, carrying energies whose waveforms correspond to the colours they display.  It was for their colours that crystals were first used for healing.  In ancient times in Egypt and Greece, colour temples were built into seven different compartments, each one containing one of the seven colour rays.  People were brought to these temples for both physical healing and spiritual uplifting. These ancient civilizations understood and used the power of the rays. They knew that each of the seven great colour manifestations affect particular centers of the body.
