ZAHAVA
This Water Baby agate enhydro is Zahava. She is unique and magical for many reasons but what stands out is that you can see and hear the movement of the ancient liquid inside this rare agate stone. Usually in order to see the water, the stone needs to be backlit.
Zahava had once had a crack that extended the entire length of her being, but has been sealed with a channel of golden healer. This Golden Seal of hers preserved the pool of liquid inside. What happened to her naturally reminds me of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art.

THE MAGIC OF AGATE ENYDROS
These magical Water Babies are Agate Enhydro Stones. They are rare to find and so much fun to play with. They have in their center an open pocket which holds a splash of ancient liquid and a bubble of air. This liquid is believed to be water, but I believe it to be much more than that. Hold them close to your ear and gently shake and you will hear the inner fluid splashing around. If you want to see what's inside, simply hold a flashlight underneath the stone and watch the movement in amazement.
SEEDS OF LIFE
These Water Babies remind me of the Dragon Egg crystals - magical stone beings which hold within them a spark ... the seed of life ... an embryo ... a baby. I felt this spark within this group of Agate Enhydro stones ... that in the bubble of water was LIFE. These water stone eggs hold life within their being ... but life in a way that we were not familiar with ... something we could not fathom or understand, but LIFE!

Agate vibrates to the number 7 and is the astrological sign of Gemini - Elemental. Agate is a form of Chalcedony and shares its properties. Agate is an incredible stone. It is believed to have been among man's earliest possessions. Egyptians were mining Agate as early as 3500 B.C. It is a stone to encourage "brotherhood" among all, symbolizing benevolence and good will, stemming from the stone's nurturing energy. It alleviates hostilities, irritability and melancholy. It enhances generosity, responsiveness and receptivity. Chalcedony was used as a sacred stone by the Native American Indians to promote stability within the ceremonial activities of the tribe.
