The Golden Touch
Last week I told you about the powerful pairing of lapis lazuli and pyrrhotite. A deep, rich blue stone of truth and sovereignty that harmonized beautifully with the golden mystical Pyrrhotite. Together they offered me the gift of a potent physical energy boost.
Lapis is back again and this week in harmony with another golden stone—chalcopyrite.
And what this duet amplified in me this time wasn’t physical strength.
It was strength of spirit.
Strength of mind.
Strength of voice.

Recently, I was part of a group thread planning a surprise gift for a friend. At the last moment, my name was left off the card.
It stirred something old. Tender childhood memories of being the quiet one. The shy one. The one easily overlooked.
But this time, something was different.
I didn’t shrink.
I didn’t spiral.
I didn’t internalize it.
I simply said:
Don’t forget about me.
There was no blame.
No shame.
No hurt.
Only power.
I heard this power in my voice when I was chanting during my qigong practice. Where normally I would quickly lose sound, now I was holding notes all the way through.
That was Lapis and Chalcopyrite at work — activating my throat chakra, stabilizing my spirit, fortifying my inner authority, amplifying my voice.
This duet doesn’t just support strength.
It initiates it.
The Royal Blue
As I’ve continued working with raw Lapis Lazuli, I’ve noticed something fascinating.
When I first brought the stones home, they were dusty. Pale. Almost greyed out. The blue felt hidden.
But as I was present with them — simply near them—deep blue tones emerged. It was as if the colour rose from beneath the surface.
When I glance at them now, in the glass bowl across the room, the richness is undeniable. The tone seems even deeper than it was last week. Fuller. More alive.
Lapis is not a passive stone.
It wants to be seen.
Heard.
Felt.
Would you expect anything less from a royal?
Traditionally associated with wisdom, truth, and the throat chakra, Lapis Lazuli has long been a stone of leaders, mystics, and visionaries. But beyond that — I now see it as an alchemizer.
A catalyst.
A galvanizer.
An energetic amplifier.
It expands its field and activates whatever it touches — magnifying not only its own frequency, but the gifts of its companions.
Chalcopyrite: sparking your inner fire
Often called the “Stone of the Mystics,” Chalcopyrite carries a different current.
Its golden iridescence feels ancient — like encoded wisdom waiting to be remembered. Fiercely protective. Deeply activating.
Chalcopyrite doesn’t whisper.
It sparks.
Energetically, it has been used to:
* Attune to subtle spiritual messages
* Locate what is lost — objects, memories, soul fragments
* Open ancestral pathways

Activating the Gold
Here’s what has become crystal clear:
Lapis activates stones’ gold tones.
Many of the stones it has been singing in harmony with lately are golden — Pyrrhotite, Rutilated Quartz and now Chalcopyrite. Lapis itself often contains golden flecks of pyrite. Interestingly, the jewelry industry typically prefers the most uniformly blue Lapis for fine pieces.
But I am always drawn to the stones streaked with gold.
Some see those inclusions as blemishes — interruptions in the purity of blue.
I see harmony.
I see divine collaboration.
Blue and gold — throat and solar plexus.
Truth and power.
Voice and action.
On their own, they are beautiful.
Together, they are magnificent.
And perhaps that is the deeper teaching here.
Your voice (blue) activates your power (gold).
Your truth ignites your sovereignty.
Your willingness to speak awakens what was dormant.
