Ouro Verde Quartz or as it is also known, Green Gold Quartz is rare to find in its natural tone. It is a transformed version of Metamorphosis Quartz. Known as "THE stone of transformation" Metamorphosis Quartz was first discovered by miners in Brazil and the name was chosen to reflect the qualities of the stone which supports the transformation to "Ouro Verde" Quartz, a golden green Quartz which is the result of the irradiation of Metamorphosis Quartz. It is usually artificially irradiated to bring out its colour but the process can happen naturally. These crystals come from a reputable supplier and I've been assured that their tone comes naturally (untreated/unheated).
