Song of Rhodochrosite and Bytownite Four crystals gathered recently and shared their song. There were 3 different types of Rhodochrosite; a gemmy red tumble, an opaque tumble - still the same "salmon" tone, but much lighter, a raw, deep Sweet Home Mine crystal and a raw Bytownite (also known as Golden Labradorite) crystal chunk. The whispered the wisdom of truth of beingness in their sweet SONG. Rhodochrosite is a personal favorite of mine. It is quite rare to find this type of fine quality gemmy Rhodochrosite. This particular type of Rhodochrosite has a colour not found often in the natural world. It might best be described as a deep salmon or coral red colour. Rhodochrosite has another very special quality that is also rare to see. It deepens in its tone when held or even when in our presence. Ruby is another stone that has this quality. This sensitive nature gives us an insight into its energetic quality ... its personality, if you will. Rhodochrosite is a stone of love ... of inner love ... of self love. It is a stone for our inner child. It is a stone whose energy of love and support can greatly benefit us in our time of rapid shifts and transformations. Bytownite which also known as Golden Labradorite ... is a new favorite. It's soft golden tone is a much sought energy in this time where light is being revealed in more and more ways and at a lightning quick pace. It is not a surprise that I am so drawn to these 2 colour energies together and it seems many others share this connection.
